We are pleased to announce that we will be attending the RWM Exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC on the 12 and 13 September. Thousands of recycling and waste professionals will be in attendance to meet industry colleagues, network with new partners and find out about the latest trends and innovations in the sector.

Leading producers of flat-rolled aluminium products and the world’s largest recycler of aluminium, we work alongside our customers to provide innovative solutions to the beverage can, automotive and high-end speciality markets. In the UK, Novelis Recycling has been driving the development of the infrastructure for aluminium beverage can recycling since 1990.

The Warrington plant; part of a European production system, produces ingots for the beverage can manufacturing industry and has the capacity to recycle every aluminium beverage can sold in the UK – approximately 117,000 tonnes per year – equivalent to over seven billion cans.

Our team of metal buyers will be on hand at the event to speak to suppliers and local authorities about the simple process of becoming a supplier. Keith Guest, Leader Scrap Procurement UK UBC comments,

“We see great value in attending the RWM exhibition and look forward to meeting our existing customers as well as welcoming new partners.”

Andy Doran, Senior Manager, Sustainability and Recycling Development, Novelis Europe will be speaking on day two of the event on “Taking Responsibility for Closing the Loop on the Circular Economy: No Zero Burden.” Novelis themselves are leaders in the successful operation of a closed loop recycling process. Andy’s talk which will take place in the Waste Matters Theatre will be followed by a panel discussion.
