Cae Post is a growing social enterprise that was set up over 20 years ago and has operated commercial scale materials recycling for the past 5 years. The company offers employment to adults with special needs and others who may find it difficult to gain employment in the open market. The Certificate of Excellence is an award presented by Novelis Recycling to its suppliers who supply good quality material.
Robbie Davies Business Development Executive for Novelis Recycling said: ?The presence of contaminants such as glass, steel, paper or plastic can disrupt the aluminum recycling process, and also pose a health and safety risk. It is encouraging to receive good quality cans and also help support such a worthwhile scheme?.
Miles Reeder who is the Operations Executive for Cae Post said ?We are aware that for Aluminium recycling, purity is of the utmost importance and by reducing contamination levels we can receive a premium for our product. For this reason we have a 2 stage sorting process for all our aluminium cans and quality is monitored on a regular basis.?
