Can Do Recycling Ltd, Glasgow

Glasgow based Can Do Recycling Ltd joined the Novelis Recycling Network in 2004 and since that time have seen a dramatic increase in the volumes of cans being processed through their facility.

Can Do provides a Cash for Cans service and provides a regular collection service for aluminium cans and other recyclables from local businesses in the central Glasgow area.

Thanks to investment in equipment from Novelis Recycling, Can Do Recycling have expanded their operations and now process mixed cans from councils across Scotland including kerbside material from Lanarkshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire. "We enable council's to achieve a fair price for their mixed cans safe in the knowledge that they are staying in the UK's aluminium can recycling loop" explains owner Jim Sinclair.

Novelis Recycling has also provided marketing support to Can Do Recycling. The company offers a cash for cans service as part of the Novelis Recycling 'Think Cans' network and provides a workplace recycling service in central Glasgow, using revenue from aluminium can collections to enable cost-effective collections of other office consumables, ranging from plastic bottles to fluorescent tubes.
